Solid Bible teaching and a great community of people!

I want to address Train Stop's concerns that this church does not allow certain people or groups to attend their Bible studies and that they were denied access by elders. This is completely false and is NOT the policy of this church. Globally and within the Twin Cities, Bethlehem is one of the most diversified and inclusive churches I have ever been in. My family and I have attended North Campus for almost 4 years and have been encouraged on every front to become involved in ministry, small groups, service projects, teaching, mentoring, and just plain old fun/food during Wednesday night connections. There is not one thing the church offers that we are denied access and I don't know of one single person who would EVER ask elders permission for someone to attend church.

John Piper (resigned as head pastor Fall of 2012) was a phenomenal preacher. Jason Meyer is just starting out as a mega church pastor and has big shoes to fill, but he's good in his own right.

I've been attending BBC since April 2016. There are 4 things I personally look for in committing to home church.
1. Bible based Gospel centered teaching
2. Gospel centered worship
3. Opportunities to serve within and out.
4. Fellowship with those in same/different life stages.
#4 is a work in progress at BBC. Given that this church is fairly large, connecting to people and plugging into a small group has been a process that took longer than I hope. It will take a lot of initiation on the "seeker's" part. Attending their "Meet Bethlehem" or BBC Meetups are great ways to connect with people and get yourself known and transferred to the right people. Their website map is not a full account of all the small groups that exist. We were thankful to have met a member from a TBI course who is in a small group that is looking for new members. Due diligence is required along with patience and grace. It is a work in progress.:)

Expository preaching. intentional services. Get into a small group avoid the drawbacks of going to a big church.
