From start to finish this was the absolute worst experience I've had with a company. It was hard enough losing my father without having to deal with all the crap that came afterward.

To begin, the two men who were sent to my home weren't strong enough to pick up my 170 lb father on their own, so my best friend had to help them. If he hadn't been there, I would have had to assist in lifting my father's dead body mere hours after I found him.

Next, the person I spoke with on the phone didn't tell me what information to bring. I've never done this. I wasn't in my right mind - I had just lost my father. So, I had to call in the afternoon after meeting with a consultant to give my father's social security number so his death certificates could be ordered. Apparently that ended up "under another note," and I didn't receive a call for five days telling me that his doctor hadn't filled out documentation correctly, so he hadn't yet been cremated, and they hadn't ordered his death certificates, because nobody had bothered to check on whether or not I had called in with his SSN.

Lastly, I was supposed to receive a call today letting me know when my father's ashes were ready to be picked up. Apparently, they had sent his remains to the correct Minneapolis location, but somehow sent the paperwork to Brooklyn Park, so nobody had bothered to call to let me know I could go get him. My brother and I both took time off work waiting for a call that never came.

The woman at the desk who helped us pick up his remains was quite lovely, and possibly the only competent person in the company. It'll be interesting to see how long it will take to receive his death certificates.

I would expect much more from an organization who works solely with the bereaved, especially after they had already been paid over $2000 for their services. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor. Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else.

Do not use Pastor Jack Heidenrich. I sat there during my boufriend's funeral service mad the whole time. I should of been crying my eyes out, but I was so angry! Jack was insincere. He acted like his death wasn't a big atrocity. He said the wrong date for his birthday! He acted like he was drunk or something because he would say the same things over and over and over again. My boyfriend deserved a way better service than jack gave him.
